Some K-50 History I previously contacted you with news of our ownership of hull #9, DIRIGO, presently in Seattle. Hull #1 of the modern K-50's was, I believe, TOMBOY, owned by Paul Kettenburg. #15, NORWESTER, was sold to a group of Northwest sailors including Doug Footh, St Elmo Newton and Kenny Brown. Newton and Footh are still involved and Charlie Footh, son of Doug, is the primary contact. Doug's email is [email protected]. I sailed on #2, KAY TOO, in San Francisco, during the early 1960's.
