Aluminum K-43

We are on a two year cruise to Mexico from Olympia Washington. The owners are Charles Ball and Susan Greene.

Please see our website at www.svpizzazz.com

Pizzazz is a 43 foot Kettenburg, aluminum hull (no numbers) built in 1967. We are "essentially" the sixth owner as the first owner traded back and forth with his corporation as an owner on some occasions.

The previous owners have modified her into a fine cruising boat. We have also improved the boat as well. Among the many things we have done to her is a change of engines to a Yanmar 4JH3e 56 HP with dual 120 amp alternators, modification of her keel to remove the propeller aperture with its speed robbing blunt design and the extension of the propeller to the area immediately behind the keel, and installed a new larger and better designed fiberglass rudder to replace the old thick aluminum rudder that showed signs of corrosion. We have also added new cabnets and table, a new Lewmar Ocean series forward hatch, Anderson winches, a DC Generator, Force 10 stove, new cushions through out, new head and Lectra/San, a full cockpit enclosure with removable panels for replaceable screens, new 120% jib, rigid boom vang, all new achoring system (350 ft. 3/8 inch HT chain with Lofrens electric anchor windlass and a 70 lb. plow),all new stanchions, stanchion bases and lifelines, new electrical panel and painted the boat with LPU paint. In addition to the above there were many smaller projects done and items added to the boat that has made her a very comfortable and capable cruiser.

We are currently in Mazatlan and will be heading for Puerto Vallarta soon. The boat turns heads where ever we go. We get lots of compliments.

Please let me know if there is anything you may need for the web site.

Best Regards
Charles Ball
