| History: Originally named ROBERTA LYNN Lynn and built for Richard Disraeli in 1966 she remained with her original owner for ten years. During 1976 she changed owners and names changed several times; first when Robert Henry purchased the boat, renaming her MOLARO, later Stephen Epstein purchased her and again renamed the boat ASLAN, after the character in the writer C.S. Lewis’ series "The Chronicles of Narnia". Again that year, Aslan changed hands when Scott and Beverly Wilmoth purchased her with plans of sailing around the world... which they did... leaving San Diego in the summer of 1977. The Wilmoths returned to the US arriving in Galveston, Texas after completing over 14,000 miles during their three-year voyage. Aslan remained in the Galveston area under several owners until Jeff Stewart purchased her in 1990. Jeff raced Aslan successfully winning several titles in the Texas Gulf. After several years Jeff moved to San Francisco taking Aslan back to the West Coast. We purchased Aslan from Jeff in Sausalito and returned her to San Diego in 2003. |

| History: We bought the boat in 1995 from eight men who used it as a floating bar for about seven years. Ted Pinkerton and Dan Moore were the principal owners. She was moored on the Cuyahoga River and at Whiskey Island Marina in Cleveland. The original name of the Boat was Anna Mae and was purchased by James Bernard of Toledo, Ohio in April of 1967. In about 1970, she was sold to Richard L. Bowen, an architect from Cleveland, and renamed Cirrus. Mr. Bowen sailed Cirrus in many regattas including the Port Huron/Chicago Mackinac races. Around 1975, Bowen sold the boat to Bill and Kitty Dodge who renamed her Irish Queen. Both Bowen and the Dodges sailed out of Mentor Harbor Yacht Club near Cleveland. The Dodges later took the boat to the Palm Beach area. It competed in the Hillsboro to Palm Beach race in 1984 and 1985 and came in first in the PHRF division both years. She cruised the Bahamas a number of times. The name Irish Queen or "IQ" for short, has been maintained by us. The IQ has a sister boat, a K-41 Yawl rig, here in Cleveland, Yavas Yavas. Occasional match races are held with the IQ undefeated so far! |

Paul Kettenburg sometime around 1969. Paul came out and
taught us the proper methods of using the spinnaker pole and boat
operation. We owned the boat up until approximately 1982/83,
I cannot recall. We sold her to someone in San
Diego. I am not sure where she has gone. |

| History: Launched
in December 1970, Betsy Ross, #29, was built for Dr. & Mrs.
Harold Amrein. In 1974 Paul Whitehead acquired her and renamed her
Nimbus. He sailed out of Southwestern Yacht Club for 27 years. We
purchased her in May 2001 and renamed her Campana del Mar.
Since we purchased her she's been re-rigged and has new sails. We've added roller furling on the jib; installed a new mainsheet system with a barney post; had extensive sanding and varnishing done; replaced the windows and portholes; installed a new head and holding tank. |

far as I know she was first registered on 10-3-69 in Houston, Texas.
Named Wanderlust then Wind Song and then about 1997/98 went to Canada
and was completely reworked (2500 hours) and named Golden Eagle III.
She was bought in Florida about 1999 and raced there.
I bought her in Florida in 2002 and trucked her to Ventura where new spars were outfitted and the name shortened to Golden Eagle.I am looking forward to the 2003 racing season. |

| History: Mallika was used as
a racer in the first phase of her life, the 70s, then as a South
Paacific cruiser for the next phase, the 80s. over the yearsl she has
had at least 2 major refits the early 80s and 2000. We did a Mexico
trip of 3500 or so miles in 02. I believe she is the only 41 with an
all teak interior and a host of other modifications including aluminum
rig and wheel. She is currently for sale and we hope she goes to a
loving kettenburg home.
Added: She was built in 67, and is berthed at the Presido Yacht club in Sausalito Ca. History as I know it, Mallika is her original name, she was raced around the San Diego area in the 70s then was refit and did a south pacific trip in the 80s , she wasnt used much in the 90s but was nicely maintained. I bought the boat in 99 from Flying Cloud Yachts, in Long Beach. We refit the boat again in 2000 adding a wheel, radar, rigging etc and rebuilding all other systems frig windless diesel dodger furling etc. She is currently in excellent mechanical and cosmetic shape, and for sale to a good kettenburg loving home.
